Diving deeper Seeking giants Crushing blackness Ancient titan Drawn out hunter New definition of most dangerous game Be careful not to be claimed by your claim Pressure building Evolution Nature’s dark side No place for man Strong arms crush life New definition of most dangerous game Be careful not to be claimed by your claim Sinking vessel Fatal mistake Entombed in trench Deep sea demon All life despised Death!
2.
Sundertow 06:00
Ebb and flow Shift the currents Tides advance Ripple, wave Vortex binds Eddy stirs Smother Endless sea Depths, unfathomed Light can’t reach Chasm Pressure builds Power holds you down As you drown Life conforms To the current’s path Tread the sea Fight the flow Swim upstream Beware Its malevolence Hold tight Don’t be swept away Here lies Mighty sundertow
3.
Lungfish 03:51
Soul lifts, vessel lost Drift, fall, death’s approach Lights fade, taken down Sleep, drown, bring me home Limbs are still now Swimming nowhere Dark seeping in Bliss takes me now Lungfish Rising Sky comes down to Meet with water Now
4.
Ocean's Call 05:58
Pulled from black hole Rise Breathe Saviors Cursed men Eyes Plead Panic gripping their minds Horizon blurs Cold waters are parted Reality distorts Death, like it rises Breaching the surface of memory Built by ancient ones Archaic form of madness, lurches forth I can see the shore through splinters and waves Blood mixes with water and comes down like rain A terror of the old world here to ruin the new I leap from the deck, this will not be my tomb
5.
Crawl away Head Down Cleansed of the animal Starve the reptile Face it, and never look away

Hypnothermia 06:33
I feel the roots beneath my feet Shifting soil as they reach for me A compost ocean with floating trees They are calling me back Grow, Decay, transform Earth takes what she wants Return what is not yours Feed those you’ve fed on And give them life The air is made of whispers now So many words, I cannot hear I peel the bark and count the rings A thousand lives in one Feast on flesh and bone Breaking down your body into Earth, absorbs your life Become one with all around you Stare deep in my eyes Know me for you’ve always been my Son, now take my hand Do not falter Do not fear me. Darkness and frozen trees closing in on me but my fear gives me strength Warm liberation Now overcomes me, and I see my escape
8.
Copelandia 07:05
I found my mind beneath the snow Left trees and Earth behind Skin of white Bruises blue Scattered my soul, to set you free Sacred shard, come back to me Follow my familiar frequency The cygnus arm tears through my soul As I fight against the tide Leaves erased Flee this night Scattered my soul, to set you free Sacred shard, come back to me Follow my familiar frequency Lost but not afraid The shepherd abandoned Death now surrounds me Moonlight will be my guide Trees growing legs Wood shatters and mends again Caps coursing through me Time stretching, endless The forest is burning Godflesh will ease my pain Psychotropic fervor Colors my stained glass brain Trees growing legs Wood shatters and mends again Caps coursing through me Time stretching, endless The moon becomes a ball of fire That burns a hole in the sky The sun smells too loud Its voice brings a sting to my eye Burn these lands Curse these sounds Drive these hands Into the ground Burn these lands Curse these sounds Drive this face Into the ground
9.
Bees 04:52
This cannot go on Hivemind We are strong as one Keeper makes his rounds In our swarm he will drown Keeper, reaper Treasure stealer We will break through We will break you We must take from him Revengence As he took from us Keeper makes his rounds In our swarm he will drown Family Now the time has come for us to strike

11.
Mandrill 02:47
Demon Touches down Search this Cratered ground Fury is unmatched They can’t Understand Why red waters flow So much like him Not safe in my skin Innocence lies bleeding Shattered by the fist Of this savage life form All it knows is hate All it knows is hate I reject my nature I am not a beast I am not a beast (We are all just beasts)
12.
As our silent planet sleeps out there Blackened and alone Strange life travels far from home Trying to understand One less drop in a cosmic sea Our tomb is held aloft by gravity Shadows of what came before Our monuments to dirt They see us for what we are Alive to spite the earth One less drop in a cosmic sea Our tomb is held aloft by gravity All life Gone now Sinking back into the clay Learn from mistakes Our past Has gone to dust Though we have ceased Mem’ry lives on this Earth One voice combined Seven billion screams
13.
Hypersleep 06:45
Can’t tell how long that it’s been Since I left my skin Eternal movement guides me Extended from within I left my shell to orbit the sun Punch holes in space-time before I’m done I’ll see it all What this planet hides Transcend time Laws of physics fail Sever Silver cord Project Sail the void Shell cast away Universe is mine No return Missions fade away
14.
I feel the wave Crashing I see the path down Illuminated Eternal recurrence Infinite progression Spiraling end to end Unwavering traveler In perfect parallel Moved to action By the birth of awareness To perceive defines existence Open your third eye And know the one way down Ego absconds as you hit the ground Hope has left you alone for too long Selfless, eternal, and future-bound You are coming through in pieces right now You will carry this load on and on You will carry this load ‘til it’s gone

about

"Grow.Decay.Transform." is a sonic journey of cosmic proportions. Forging an alliance between sludge metal and 70's progressive rock, the album explores huge swaths of musical territory while maintaining a voice that is distinctly Phase Meridian. This is prog minus pretension. This is prog that skips to the good parts. This is essential listening for fans of Mastodon, Gojira, and cracking open a cold one and gazing into the night sky.

about

Phase Meridian Minneapolis, Minnesota

These boys seek to become the collective "best man," in the wedding of beauty and brutality. They want nothing more than to make it big; if only so they can pool their collective wealth in an insane plot to purchase the elephant man's remains.
